Privacy Screen Fences

Privacy Screen Fences

Privacy screen fence nets (also called shade cloth or mesh privacy screens) are a simple way to block visibility, reduce wind, and add shade to outdoor spaces like balconies, gardens, or chain-link fences. They’re woven or knitted polyethylene (HDPE) mesh sheets that attach to fences or railings. They let air pass through but block visibility.

Types of Shade Nets

• Standard mesh (50–75% blockage) : Good for light privacy + airflow (gardens, patios)
• High-density mesh (90–100% blockage) : Best for strong privacy (backyards, construction sites)

Features to Look For

• UV Protection (prevents fading and cracking)
• Wind Permeability (reduces damage in storms)
• Mold/mildew resistance
